Project notes · Technology R&D

Anvilor is a technology project I work on.

It is part of my role at DICORP, Inc. and gives me a place to research and build better ways to collect information, connect workflows, and support some of our community and philanthropic work.

A smarter form

Fields, logic, and content can adapt as someone responds.

01 / What it is

What Anvilor does.

At its core, Anvilor is a forms platform. The interesting part for me is how far a “form” can go when it has useful logic, personalization, integrations, and good design.

01

Logic

Questions can branch, calculate values, and validate information based on the answers someone gives.

02

Personalized links

A form can be pre-filled or connected to a person, without asking them to make another account.

03

Connections

Payments, email, APIs, and integrations let the form participate in a larger process.

04

Managing responses

The people running a project need useful ways to see the data, follow up, and know what happens next.

02 / What I’m exploring

Learning by using it on real projects.

Anvilor is both a platform and a place to experiment. Using it for actual community projects helps reveal what is useful, what is missing, and what should be made reusable.

Understand

Start with the people

Learn what the organization is trying to do, who is involved, and where the current process is frustrating.

Build

Put the pieces together

Use forms, data, payments, messages, and integrations where they actually help.

Learn

Reuse what works

Take the useful lessons from one project and turn them into capabilities that can help with the next one.

03 / Some examples

Some of the things it supports.

Most of the current work involves helping people contribute, register, respond, volunteer, or find the information they need.

01

Community engagement

Surveys, feedback forms, applications, and event registration.

02

Digital fundraising

Donation pages, auctions, raffles, and other tools used around fundraising events.

03

Workflow automation

Connecting steps and systems so organizers do not have to repeat the same manual work.
